Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for August 1977 The Police Department handled 74 complaints and investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents. There were 77 traffic tickets and 1 parking ticket issued during the month. There were five felony complaints, one for burglary, one for grand larceny, one for criminal possession of stolen property, one for attempt to commit a crime of burglary, and one for criminal possession of a forged instrument. There were nineteen misdemeanor complaints, six for qbcriminal mischief, four for criminal trespaes, three for petit larceny, and one each for issuing bad check, aggravated harassment, attempt to commit a crime, illegal possession of fireworks, falsely reporting an incident, and unlawfully dealing with a child. Three persons were arrested for burglary 3rd degree, three persons were arrested for driving while intoxicated, two persons were arrested for criminal possession stolen property, and one person for violation of a Family Court order of protection. Two juveniles were apprehended for illegal possession of fireworks. There was a total. of $600.00 in property reported lost or stolen during the month $,4,286.35 in property recovered by the police department.
