George, Fire Chief RE: Fire Department Report for the month of March 1977 There were five general alarms and one Incident call in March 1977. On March 2nd, the Department responded to a mutual aid call to a fire in the Pyramid Mall. Three pieces of apparatus and 25 men responded. A grass fire on March Iith, at 5:15 p.m., called the Department to Tareyton Drive. One engine, Car 241, and 24 men responded. On March 15, at 11:41 a.m., the Department responded on a mutual aid call • to Apt. 12 in Uptown Village where roof contractors had accidently set the roof on fire. Three pieces of equipment and 13 men responded. Our Depart- ment responded on first call as one engine In the South Lansing Fire Dept. was broken down. A burned -out light ballast caused considerable smoke at the Brooks Pharmacy at the Village Green and called out the Department on March 17th, at 12:15 p.m. Two pieces of apparatus and 16 men responded. On March 19th, at 9 :07 , p.m., the Department was called to a kitchen fire at 120 Burlelgh Drive. Four rti -eves of apparatus and 24 men responded. There was one Incident In March. The Department was requested to stand by with one engine at an au•io accident on Forest Home Drive on March 27th, at 4:15 a.m. Three man were called to reupond with the engine. 0
