Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for January 1977 The Police Department handled 56 complaints and investigated 13 motor vehicle accidents. There were 53 traffic tickets and 26 parking tickets issued during the month. There was one felony reported during the month, that being a burglary. There were sixteen misdemeanor complaints, eight for bad checks, four for criminal mischief, two for criminal trespass, one for petit larceny and one for aggravated harasement. All of the officers attended instructional classes for three evenings and one Saturday morning in the new cardio pulmonary resuscitation method. Robert J. Hults, a member of the Cayuga Heights Fire Dept. instructed the classes. With the approval of the Village Board in their budget consider- ations, we will purchase some additional equipment from revenue sharing money to facilitate an improved CPR response to the Village. There was a total of 8396.57 in property lost or stolen during the month and 87.OR6.72 in property recovered by the Police Department. One juvenile was apprehended in violation of the curfew ordinance.
