HomeMy WebLinkAboutPublic Hearing 12/28/1976E VILLAGE OF CAYUGA HEIGHTS MINUTES of a PUBLIC HEARING held December 28, 1976 at 5:00 P.M. in the Village Hall to consider a proposed Local Law applicable under the terms of New York State Real Propert Tax Law, Section 485 (b). PRESENT: Mayor F. G. Marcham; Trustees David J. Allee, Ronald E. Anderson, Shailer S. Philbrick, David Pimentel, Rane F. Randolph, Jean R. Robinson; Attorney Roger B. Sovocool. OTHERS PRESENT: Mr. J. Jarrett, representative of Radio Station WTKO Mayor Marcham opened the Public Hearing by reading the duly publlhed notice of the Public Hearing. Mr. Sovocool presented the terms of a proposed local law which is subject to a permissive referendum. The meeting was closed at 5:20 P.M. F. G. Marcham, Mayor MINUTES of a special meeting of the Village Board of Trustees at 5:30 P.M. in the Village Hail held on December 28, 1976. PRESENT: Mayor F. G. Marcham; Trustees David J. Allee, Ronald E. Anderson, Shaller S. Philbrick, Da41d Pimentel, Rane F. Randolph, Jean R. Robinson; Attorney Roger B. Sovocool. Notion by Trustee Allee; seconded by Trustee Robinson: RESOLUTION 2666 - LOCAL LAW N0, THREE OF THE YEAR 1976 A Local Law providing for percentage of exemtlon for business investment. Be it enacted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga Heights as follows: Section I. The percentage of exemption allowed for business Investment pursuant to Section 485 -b of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of New York Is hereby reduced to Zero. This Local Law is subject to a permissive referendum. The Board voted in favor of the Local Law by way of four Ayes; Mr. Philbrick voted No; Mr. Anderson did not vote. Meeting adjourned at 5 :45 P.M.
