DLPARTME4T VILLAGD OF CAYUGA HEIGHTS September 20, 1976 TO: Honorable Frederick G. iercham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for August 1976 The Police Department handled 85 complaints and investigated 7 motor vehicle accidents. There were 74 traffic tickets and 8 parking tickets issued during the month. There were eight felony complaints, seven for burglary and one for criminal possession forged instrument. There were seventeen misdemeanor complaints, six for petit larceny, four for criminal mischief, four for criminal trespass, one for illegal possession of fireworks, one for criminal possession of stolen property, and one for falsely reporting an incident. • One person was arrested for the felony of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 2nd degree. There were three persons arrested for misdemeanors, one for issuing a bad check, one for obstructing governmental administration, and one for aggravated harassment. One person was arrested for being in Sunset Park after the closing hour of 10:00 P.M. and four persons were arrested for driving while intoxicated. Four juveniles were apprehended, two for illegal possession of fireworks and two for curfew violations. There was a total of ir1408.00 in property reported lost or stolen during the month and a total of $853.80 in property recovered by the Police Department.
