Heights held August 17, 19760 at 5:30 p.m. in the Village Hall.
PRESENT: Mayor F. G. Marcham; Trustees Ronald E. Anderson, Shallor S. Philbrick,
David Pimentel, Rene F. Randolph, and Jean R. Robinson; Attornoy Roger B. Sovocool;
Engineer John B. Rogers; Treasurer Gordon B. Wheeler.
ABSENT: Trustee David J. Allee
The Board net In special session following discussion of the sewer contract between
the Villages of Lansing and Cayuga Heights.
Motion made by Trustee Randolph and seconded by Trustee Anderson:
RESOLUTION NO. 2604 - CONTRACT APPROVAL
RESOLVED to approve the sewer contract between the Villages of Lansing and Cayuga
Heights, as amended, subject to the following conditions.
That the attorney prepare and distribute to all members of the Board and the Mayor
a fair copy of the amended contract.
That members of the Board, after study of the contract, report to the Viila,e
Clerk or the Mayor whether they are satisfied with the contract in the form pre-
pared by the attorney; if not, which I•Parr or items they wish reconsidered.
That the Mayor, having road the contract and considered the response of the
• Trustees to it, is authorized to sign it.
That the Mayor shall transmit the signed contract to the Mayor of the Village of
Lansing.
Unanimously passed.
Moved by Trustee Philbrick and seconded by Trustee Pimantel:
RESOLUTION 2605 - LANSING ENGAGE ENGINEER YO STUD`( SEWER PROBLEM
ASSOCIATED WITH TUCKER PROPERTY IN CAYUGA HEIGHTS
RESOLVED that under the provisions of Section ii of the sewer contract between
Lansing and Cayuga Heights, the mayor' is Instructed to act •imanediately to propose
to the Village of Lansing the employment of a licensed engineer of their cholce
to prepare a program for the correction of the setirer problem associated with the
Tucker property.
Unanimously passed.
Moved by Trustee Randolph and seconded by Trustee Anderson:
RESOLUTION 2607 - CAYUGA HEIGHTS ENGINEER AUTHORIZED TO INSPECT
AND APP:'?OVE CONNECTION OF PYRAMID MALL
RESOLVED that under the terms of Section of the sewer contract between Lansing
and Cayuga Heights, Engineer Rogers is instructed, upon authorization by the
Village of Lansing, to Inspect and, If approprlate,approve the connection between
the force -main sewer line from the Pyramid mall area and the 8 -Inch gravity line
that passes under Route 13.
Unanimously passed. blasting adjourned at 6:10 p.m.
