Y=ebam, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for December 1975 The Police Department handled 55 complaints and inu•a9tigated 11 motor vehicle accidents. There were 58 traffic tickets and 17 parking tickets issued during the month. There were two felony complaints curing the month, both for burglary and 17 misLemeanor complaints, 6 for criminal miochief, 5 for petit larcewix 2 for bad check, 2 for criminal trespaes, 1 for aggravated harassment and 1 for criminal tampering. There was a total of $838.15 in property reported lost or stolen during the month and a total of $175.00 in property recovered by the police department. There was one adult arrested for driving while intoxicated end one juvenile apprehended for aggravated harassment. On December 19, 1975 the officers and their wives attended a Christmas Dinner /Party and a part -time officer worked Sc e.11 C-f thei officers could attend. Village Justice Dean has invited all of the officers to be his guest at the Tompkins County Magistrates P.ssocinticn annual banquet on January 18, 1976 and a part -time officer has been sche3Ued for that evening so that all of the officers asn attend. There is a small, bud,-'at appropriation for part -time officers for such occurrences. The officers worked a total of 26 hours overt1 a during the month.
