bIIWTES of a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees held at 4:00 p.m. December 2,
1975 in the Village Hall.
PRESENT: Mayor F. G. Marcham; Trustees Ronald E. Anderson, Shailer S. Philbriek,
David Pimentel, Rane F. Randolph; Engineer John B. Rogers.
ABSENT: Trustee David J. Allee.
The Board discussed at length the status of the sewer problem as it relates to the
Village and Town of Lansing. The Mayor pointed out some of the uncertainties that
would stand in the way of solution, notably the contradiction in the recent Town of
Lansing resolutions on the subject, the difference between the concerns of the
Village of Lansing as expressed by Mayor Smidt and by Trustee Foss, and the state-
ment by Lansing Attorney Amdur that contracts between the Village of Lansing and
Cayuga Heights for sewer service were not necessary at this time.
The Board heard a description by Engineer Rogers of the sewer lines that serve and
might serve the Village of Lansing. The Engineer produced maps to illustrate his
presentation.
The Board decided to seek first a firm request from the Village of Lansing concern-
ing the sewer service it needs; i.e., as to volume, location, size of lines, etc.;
and next to go forward with the consideration of a contract or contracts with the
Village of Lansing. The Board also asked Engineer Rogers to prepare and circulate
a written version of his report.
Meeting adjourned at 5:45 P.M.
F. G. Marcham, Mayor
