On November 1, 1975, at 4:09 a.m., a false alarm at BOCES called out 4 pieces of apparatus and 11 men. A defective detector set off the alarm and has since been repaired. On November 5, 1975 at 8:51 a.m., the Department responded to a car fire at 101 Highgate Road. Two pieces of apparatus and 9 men responded. A chimney fire at 107 Salem Drive on November 8th, at 8:57 p.m., called out the Department. Four trucks and 20 men responded. On November 11, 1975, at 2:26 p.m., a person reported a grass fire near Warren and Hanshaw Roads. The call proved to be a false alarm. Two trucks and 12 men re- sponded. On November 12, 1975, at 5 :15 p.m., a small fire occurred in the Company room of the Fire Department. A burned -out fluorescent light ballast burned some ceiling tile. The rug was burned from dropping tile. The fire was quickly extinguished by 4 members who were present. Ithaca Agency has been notified. A false alarm occurred at 435 Wyckoff Road on November 14, 1975, at 2:00 p.m. County Fire Control mistakenly sent the Ithaca Fire Department. On November 16, 1975, at 1:03 p.m., a trash fire at Chateau Clair North was responsible for a mutual aid call for Cayuga Heights. Two pieces of apparatus and 18 men responded. On November 20, 1975, at 1:01 p.m., a woods fire off Winston Court called out two pieces of equipment and 13 men.. On November 23, 1975, at 7 :47 p.m., a car fire at 301 Cayuga Heights Road called out 2 trucks and 18 men. A false alarm at BOCES on November 24, 1975, at 1 :52 a.m., called out the Department. Three trucks and 10 men responded. A BC..= false alarm called out the Department again on November 24, 1975, at 5:05 a.m. One truck and 7 men responded. On November 24, 1975, at 8:56 p.m., a kitchen fire called out the Department. Three trucks and 21 men responded. On November 25, at 7:05 a.m., a false alarm occurred at 435 Wyckoff Road. Fire Control again mistakenly sent the Ithaca Fire Department. This matter has been corrected through the Ithaca Fire Chief. Three incident cases were received in November. Two gasoline flushes - one on • Route 13 and one at 907 Triphammer Road. A smoke odor was reported at 104 Midway.
