HomeMy WebLinkAboutReport of the Fire Chief for July 19750 REPORT OF FIRE CHIEF MONTH - JULY 1975 On July 19, 1975 at 8:46 p.m. the department responded to 607 Hanshaw Road on a False Alarm. The trouble appeared to be wet telephone lines or equipment. Telephone Repair was notified. Engine 203, Truck 2�4 and Car 261 responeed with 13 men. On July 19, 1975 at 9:30 p.m. a False Alarm at Cayuga Heights School called out the Department. Engine 203 and Car 261 responded with 10 firemen. Wet telephone lines appeared to have caused the alarm. Telephone Repair Service was notified. On July 24, 1975 at 6:25 P.M. the Department was again called to 607 Hanshaw Road on a false alarm. Engine 203, Truck 234 and Car 261 responded with 11 men. Telephone Repair Service was again notified as it was believed wet telephone equipment or lines were responsible for the alarm. Telephone Repair Service assured the Department that they were going to install new lines to the above two places to avoid future alarms. Lowell T. George Village Fire Chief •
