HomeMy WebLinkAboutPolice Chief Report for July 1975s POLICE DEPARTMENT VILLAGE OF CAYLUA HEIGHTS August 18, 1975 TO: Hon. Frederick G. Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for July 1975 The Police Department handled 81 complaints and investigated 6 motor vehicle accidents. There were 63 traffic tickets and 8 parking tickets issued during the month. There were 3 felony complaints, 1 burglary, 1 grand larceny, and 1 possession of stolen property. There were 22 misdemeanor complaints, 7 criminal mischief, 8 petit larceny,2 bad checks, 4 criminal trespass and 1 aggravated harassment. The 1974 Matador police car is still in Elmira and has been there for more than one month waiting for parts to repair it. We expect to have it any day now but it caused us considerable inconvenience and we are putting all the - mileage on the 1975 Nova police car in the meantime. • Patrolman Kenneth Lansing will be attending the NYS Muncipal Police Training Council Basic Recruit School at Tompkins - Cortland Community College from September 8th thru November 14th. This will then complete all of the required training of the officers and we should be able to adopt more standard scheduling of the officers after that time.
