REPORT OF FIRE VISPECTOR
Months - June, July, August 1975
During the months of May & June, I inspected the following properties:
Cayuga Heights School
Carriage House Apartments - All boiler and laundry rooms
126 Westbourne Lane - 4 visits
I also responded to three phone call inquiries.
I was particularly concerned about the condition of the school prior to and during
the summer recess. Combustibles were 4;ell controlled prior to disposal.
Carriage House Apartment's boiler and laundry rooms were as usual excellent.There
were, several minor recommendations relating to electrical wiring and hazards
relating to.safety.
There remains a question about the Westbourne Lane property. I believe about half
is in Cayuga Heights. Since we may receive a fire call I inspected it and will
follow up on numberous recommendations existing at this location.
In July and up to August 12, 1975 I have inspected the Lakeland Rousing complex
• and Pleasant Grove Road building (formerly occupied by Drs. Meyer and Uphoff)
which is presently being used as a real estate office.
The inspections of these properties revealed the necessity of improving wiring in
the laundry - boiler rooms, and the sealing of unprotected openings in some
ceilings and walls in Lakeland Apartments.
I also rejected a plan to construct two apartments in the Pleasant Grove Road
building until I have seen architectural drawings concerning this project.
