Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJWT: Report of the Police Chief for December 1974 The Police Department handled 64 complaints and investigated 8 motor vehicle accidents. There were 74 traffic tickets and 22 parking tickets issued during the month. There were six felonies reported during the month. One was a burglary at the Corners Community Center with a loss of over $2,000 cash. Another burglary of a private residence involved the theft of property valued at about $180.00. One report of attempted burglary of a residence was unfounded and there was one attempted grand larceny of a motor vehicle. There were two grand larcenies which involved the theft of a diamond ring valued at over $3,000 and the theft of a chandelier valued at over $800.00. There were also 18 misdemeanor complaints during the month. One subject was arrested for issuing a bad check. • The part-time officers worked a total of 15 hours during the month and the full -time officers worked 15 hours overtime.
