HomeMy WebLinkAboutFire Department Report for Nov 1974CAYUGA HEIGHTS FIRE DEPARTMENT Report for November, 1974 The Cayuga Heights Fire Department responded to five alarms during the month of November, 1974. On Monday, November 11th. at 8:16 P.M. the department responded to a mutal aid call for a car fire at Lansing Apartments West. Two pieces of equipment, Engine 202 and Car 261, responded with ten men. On November 14th. the Fire Department responded to two alarms. The first one was at 3:22 P.M. at DeWitt Junior High School. It was a malfunction in the Flexalarm system. Five men reponded with Engine 201 and Car 261. The second alarm was at 8: 24 P.M, at 1308 Hanshaw Road for a chimney fire. There was no damage. Engines 201, 202, Ladder 234, and Car 261 reponded with twenty men. There was a report of smoke and smoke odor At 112 Sheldon Road on November 15th, at 7:25 P.M. Again there was no damage. Engines 201, 202 and Car 261 repsonded with seventeen men. There was a car fire at 58 Highgate Circle on November 19th. at 4:05 P.M. There was minor damage to the car. Eleven men answered the alarm with Engine 201 add Car 261. Lowell T. George 'mire Chief •
