Corrected MINUTES of a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Cayuga Heights held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 1974
in the Village Hall.
PRESENT: Mayor F. G. Marcham; Trustees Ronald E. Anderson, Verne A. Fogg,
Shailer S. Philbrick
ABSENT: Trustees David J. Allee, Dooley S. Kiefer, Rene F. Randolph
RESOLUTION 2336 - PAVING EXTRA - sum PLANT
VOTED to appropriate a sum of $2,790 for an extra 800 square hrds of paving
which will cover the approximately 10-year old blacktopped area s site of the
Sewege Treatment Plant. This paving to be applied at the same time as the new
paving. Stewart and Bennett is the principal contractor.
RESOLUTION 2337 - EXTRA FOR ROOF
VOTED to approve an expenditure not to exceed $2,107 to replace the low roof
of existi service building of the original sewer plant. Stewart and Bennett
e he principal contractor.
RESOLUTION 2338 - EXTRA FOR ENTRANCE PAVING
• VOTED to appropriate a sum of $682 for 400 square feet additional paving at
the entrance to the driveway at the new sewer plant site, subject to assurance
that the Village will be reimbursed by the County which will be sole beneficiary
of facilities to be served through the enlarged entrance.
Bids for Removal of Trees from Village Rights of Way were duly advertised,
received, and opened at 12 noon. September 23, 1974 as follows:
1. Muldoon Tree Service, Inc. of Auburn NY $12975.00 .
2. S & S Tree Service of Ithaca NY 1,900.00
RESOLUTION 2339 - AWARD BID
VOTED to award the bid for Removal of Trees from Village Rights of Way to
S & S Tree Service of Ithaca NY as per bid submitted for removal of 36 trees
for $1,900.
Meeting adjourned at 4:20 p.m.

• EXTRA NOTE
The Mayor spoke to Anthony Wylen of Teetor - Dobbins, Consulting Engineers
for the Wastewater Treatment program, at 4:25 p.m. Mr. Wylen assured him that
the Village will be reimbursed either directly by the County or by Tompkins
County Sewer District No. 1 when it acquires the Village Sewer Plant.
