Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJLCT: Report of the Police Chief for June 1974 The Police Department handled 88 complaints and investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents. There were 44 traffic tickets and 15 parking tickets issued during the month. There were no felonies reported during the month and 34 misdemeanor complaints. Criminal Mischief and Petit Larceny were the highest category of misdemeanors with 10 each. The Public Safety Committee agreed on a flag pole after the Police Chief consulted with an architect and an 18 ft. pole has been erected. The total cost for the pole and materials to erect it were less than $50.00. We have already had several compliments on it. • I would like to request your approval to send Sergeant Cooper to an Advanced Firearms School instructed by the F.B.I. at Camp Smith, Peekskill., N.Y."from July 29, 1974 thru August 2, 1974. Also approval is requested for the Chief to attend the N.Y. State Association of Chiefs of Police Conference at the Pines, South Fallsburgh, N.Y. from August 11, 1974 thru August 15, 1974. Money is budgeted for both these matters. The Youth Program is started and I will make a report to the Board at the July meeting.
