Tuesday, May 28, 1974 in the Village Hall.
VOTED to approve the Abstract of Audited Vouchers dated 5/28/74 in the
following amounts: General Fund - $41,989.05; Sewer Fund - $112978.79.
RESOLUTION 2262 - TRANSFERS
VOTED to approve the following transfers:

RESOLUTION 2263 - RENEW BAN
VOTED to authorize the Treasurer to renew Bond Anticipation Note #3 at
the Tompkins County Trust Co., dated 5/21/73 by taking out BAN #7 in the
same amount ($500,000) et 6% interest in connection with the construction
of additions to and reconstruction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant
pursuant to Section 5 of Bond Resolution #1876 doted 9/20/71.
After discussion, the Board instructed the Mayor to ask the S.P.C.A. on
what terms end with what services they would be willing to serve as agents
in administering the dog ordinance, either on a 9 to 5 weekday schedule or
over a more extended period.
Trustee Kiefer suggested further study of the language of Section 20 of the
proposed ordinance.
The Board agreed as follows:
To appoint Lowel T. George as Fire Superintendent at a salary of $2400 per
annum, appointment to take effect April 1, 1974. The Board will take
formal action on this appointment at its next scheduled meeting.
The Bonrd gave yreliminory authority to the Fire Superintendent to order
new radio equipment for the Fire Department as follows, to be paid out of
the 1974 -75 budget:
