Subject: Fire Inspection Report
I completed the inspection of the entire Community Corners -
Village Creen complex during the month of January, 1974. I
am pleased to report that general conditions as they may concern
unusual hazardous situations, housekeeping,practices, extinguisher
maintenance, etc. were very good.
As a matter of fact, I was particular;y impressed with storage
practices, as conducted by Super Duper, both drug stores, the
hardware store, and automobile service stations.
I suppose the one area of most concern, and that is small when
compared to the total picture, is the utility room in the dentist
office building occupied by Drs. Faigin and Elkins. As a solution
to their space problems for storage, I have recommended and they
have agreed to the installation of dh automatic sprinkler head in
the room.
You may also be interested to know that a fire drill was held in
the First National Bank Building on January 31, 1974. Customers
O left the _premises immediately upon sounding of alarm. Money was
secured in about one minute.
In coming months, I shall target the remainder of the multiple
dwellings in the Village.
