CAYUGA HEIGHTS FIRE DEPARTMENT

The Department made six emergency responses in the month of
January. They were one medical emergency (oxygen); three
outdoor fires (wires down); one car fire (broken heater hose);
and one residental (smoke). There was no reportable fire damage.
The Fire Council requests permission to purchase from the equip-
ment fund, which has a balance of $736.00, onequickie Electric
Rescue Saw, estimated coat $269.00, and one Motorola Pocket Pager,
estimated cost $325.00.
It has become neccessary to order another'module of ten curcuits
for our Flexalarm System. The original ten circuits have been
filled and we have on deposit a check in the amount of $150.00
for an6ther connection. The funds for purchase of this equipment
originally were authorized out of the Fire Department Equipment
Reserve Fund with income from connectionscharges returned to this
fund. Approximate cost fortthis equipment will be $300.00. This
will enable us to connect this present customer and to connect
nine additional customers in the future. This means our total
cost for ten units is about $720.00 and our total income from
ten connections is $1500.00. This leaves a plus balance of $780.04
to cover future maintenance costs.
Respectfully submitted,
