SUBJECT: Activities of the Police Department for August 1973
The Police Department handled 44 complaints and investigated 8 motor
vehicle accidents. There were 21 traffic tickets and 14 parking tickets
issued during the month.
There was 1 felony complaint of burglary. There were 13 misdemeanor
complaints, 5 petit larceny, 1 criminal mischief, 2 bad checks, 2
criminal, trespass, 1 aggravated harassment, 1 criminal possession
• dangerous drugs and 1 assault.
There were 5 persons arrested on criminal charges during the month.
One person was arrested for petit larceny, one person arrested for
issuing a bad check and 3 persona arrested for criminal possession
dangerous drugs.
The part -time officers worked 112 hours and the full -time officers
worked 29 hours overtime during the month.
