SUBJECT: Activities of the Police Department for July 1973
The Police Department handled 34 complaints and investigated 6 motor
vehicle accidents, There were 34 traffic tickets and 6 parking tickets
issued during the month.
There were 2 felony complaints, 1 attempted burglary and 1 arson. There
were 11 misdemeanor complaints, 2 petit larceny, 2 criminal mischief, 1
Sbad check, 4 criminal trespass, 1 aggravated harassment and 1 violation
of the Public Health Law.
There were three persons arrested on criminal charges during the month.
One person was arrested for growing marijuana without a license and
criminal possession of a dangerous drug. One person was arrested for
criminal possession of a dangerous drug and one for petit larceny.
The part -time officers worked 142 hours and the full -time officers
worked 71 hours overtime during the month.
