CAYUGA HEIGHTS FIRE DEPARTMENT
REPORT FOR APRIL 1973
The department responded to 9 fires or incidents during the month,
they were:
2 Motor Vehicle Accidents
1 Mutual Aid (To Lansing - Lost Person)
1 Grass Fire
3 Accidental Alarms
1 Electrical in Dwelling
1 Natural Gas Leak in Apartment Complex
The Fire Council requests that the Chief be authorized to order the
following equipment:
200' of lightweight 1� inch hose $200.00
12 pair boots 360.00
12 turnout coats 420.00
$980.00
To be paid for from the 1973 -74 equipment appropriation of
$2,000. Delivery not expected before late June or early
July if ordered soon and we have several volunteers who need
replacement turnout coats and /or new boots.
