At this same meeting the council discussed the matter of changing the name of the Fire Department Equipment Fund. They felt that there was no real advantage to changing the name and request that the present name of the fund be continued. The fire inspector requests that if changes in the Zoning Ordinances are made to permit 'bluster Housing" that before definitions are written into the ordinance that clarification of N.Y.S. Multiple Residence Law as it would apply to this type of construction be obtained and the ordinances be written to include approval of the inspector prior to issuance of any permits for construction of 'bluster Housing" in the Village. The Fire Chief wishes to advise the Board that 'bluster Housing" in large amounts might change the needs and operational procedures of the fire department and be reflected in increased costs for operation of the fire department.
