MINUTES of a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga
Heights held Friday, January 19, 1973 at 4:00 P.M. in the Village Hall.
PRESENT: Mayor F. G. Marcham; Trustees David J. Allee, Harold R. Fisher, Verne
A. Fogg, Carl H. Nelson, Claire C. Nullee, Rane F. Randolph; Attorney Roger B.
Sovocool; Treasurer Gordon B. Wheeler; Engineer John B. Rogers.
OTHERS PRESENT: Anthony Wylen and Mario Ciappa, Engineers with.our Consulting
firm of Teetor- Dobbins.
RESOLUTION 2052 - ACCEPT BIDS
VOTED that it is the intent of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga
Heights to accept the following bids for the four construction contracts in the
remodeling of the Village Sewer Plant, these being, in each category, the lowest
bids:
Contract No. 2 - GENERAL
Stewart & Bennett Inc.
714 West Clinton Street
Ithaca, New York 14850 $1,976,000.00
Contract No. 3 - HEATING & VENTILATING
• Hull Heating & Plumbing Inc.
802 West Seneca Street
Ithaca, New York 14850 14,228.00
Contract No. 4 - PLUMBING
J & K Plumbing & Heating Co. Inc.
Binghamton, New York 13900 39,300.00
Contract No. 5 - ELECTRICAL
Mid -State Electrical Company Inc.
700 Oriskany Street West
Utica, New York 13502 196,000.00
Total $2,225,528.00
with the understanding that this acceptance is subject to the approval of the
State and Federal agencies with appropriate jurisdiction.
RESOLUTION 2053 - PURCHASE ENVELOPES
VOTED to authorize the purchase of 1500 regular 80 stamped government printed
envelopes for the sum of $138.60.
