SUBJECT: Activities of the Police Department for December 1972
The Police Department handled 45 complaints and investigated 12 motor
vehicle accidents. There were 50 traffic tickets and 26 parking tickets
issued during the month.
There was one attempted house burglary and five petit larceny cases
including one case of larceny of U.S. Nail. One person was arrested
for Driving While Intoxicated in connection with a personal injury
accident and one person for petit larceny in connection with a
shoplifting case.
A separate memorandum has been sent to all Village Trustees concerning
a current problem with our radar unit.
The part -time officers worked 63 hours and the full -time officers
worked 12 hours overtime during December.
