Subject: Activities of the Police Department for November 1972
The Police Department handled 60 complaints and investigated, 11 motor
vehicle accidents. There were 73 traffic tickets and 39 parking tickets
issued during the month.
There were two felonies reported, namely residential burglaries, and
28 misdemeanors. Two persons were arrested for issuing bad checks, one
person for failure to comply with conditional discharge, one for carrying
a loaded gun in the Village, one for petit larceny, one for public
intoxication and one for aggravated harassment. Property in the amount
$1,440.30 was reported lost or stolen during the month and only $83.74
has been recovered.
The part -time officers worked 48 hours and the full -time officers
worked 14 hours overtime during November.
