Two zoning permits were issued for construction of additions to existing dwellings at an estimated construction costs of $6,800. The Zoning Board of Appeals reconsidered their decision on the fence of Mr. Elliott on North Triphammer Road and permitted him a two year grace period during which he can retain the wooden fence while a natural hedge of trees or bushes is transplanted and grown. The Zoning Board of Appeals granted a variance to Mr. Charles Mercer to construct a carport on his property which was a variance from the front yard setback and land coverage requirements of the zoning ordinance. Requests have been received for information on the building of a paddle tennis court in the residential area of the Village. Although golf courses of non - commercial type and miniature golf courses of non - commercial type are permitted in the residential area, paddle tennis courts are not mentioned and therefore a decision as to their appropriateness must be determined by the Board of Trustees.
