MINUTES of a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees held at 7:00 P.M.
in the Village Hall on February 28, 1972.
PRESENT: Mayor F. G. Marcham; Trustees David J. Allee, Harold R. Fisher,
Carl H. Nelson, Claire C. Nulle, Pane F. Randolph; Attorney Roger B. Sovocool.
At the Tax Sale held February 12, 1972, William Tucker Dean bid in
properties for a total of $1,228.81. By letter dated February 22, 1972 he
enclosed a check in payment of property tax map number 15 -4 -14 and withdrew
his bid on the remaining parcels he had bid in.
RESOLUTION # 1924 - WITHDRAWAL OF TAX SALE BIDS
VOTED to accept the letter of William Tucker Dean dated February 22, 1972
regarding the recent Village Tax Sale and to acknowledge his wish to withdraw
his bid on the properties known as tax map numbers 4 -3 -11.2, 4- 3- 11.12,
4- 3- 11.14, 4 -3 -11.15, 4- 3- 11.16, and 4-3 -11.17 which he had bid in on
February 12, 1972.

Attorney Sovocool reported that the Bond Anticipation Note for $125,000
was ready for signing and did the Board wish to authorize the Acting Treasurer
to sign in the absence of the Treasurer. After discussion it was decided to
wait until the Treasurer is back from vacation before executing the B.A.N.
thereby saving interest.
The meeting adjourned at 7 :20 P.M.
