REPORT FOR DECEMBER 1971
The department responded to five alarms and made eight assists in
December. There was no fire loss in the fire protection district for
the month.
The sprinkler installation has been completed and the certificate of
inspection and approval by the underwriters has been received.
The fire alarm system installation is complete and awaits only connection
of the individual schools to be operational. One resident has also
arranged to connect the fire alarm system in his residence to our system.
The Village Hall system could also be connected at any time.

A recent reinspection of Cayuga Heights School shows improvement and
most of the hazards have been corrected or are in the process of being
corrected.
