HomeMy WebLinkAboutFire Department Report for Dec 1971CAYUGA HEIGHTS FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT FOR DECEMBER 1971 The department responded to five alarms and made eight assists in December. There was no fire loss in the fire protection district for the month. The sprinkler installation has been completed and the certificate of inspection and approval by the underwriters has been received. The fire alarm system installation is complete and awaits only connection of the individual schools to be operational. One resident has also arranged to connect the fire alarm system in his residence to our system. The Village Hall system could also be connected at any time. There were nine inspections made in December: 12/1 Cornell Heights Residential Club Good 12/1 North East School Good 12/2 DeWitt School Good 12/6 Acacia Fraternity Fair 12/8 BOCES A Good 12/8 " B Good 12/8 " C Poor to hazardous 12/8 " D Poor 12/8 " E Good A recent reinspection of Cayuga Heights School shows improvement and most of the hazards have been corrected or are in the process of being corrected.
