Subject: Activities of the Police Department for December 1971
Gentlemen:
The Department handled 59 complaints and investigated 5 motor vehicle
accidents. There were 36 traffic tickets and 7 parking tickets issued
during the month.
Some of the cases investigated during the month concerned 4 felony
cases (burglary), 23 misdemeanor cases (petit larceny, bad check, criminal
• mischief, criminal trespass, aggravated harassment, attempt to commit a crime,
•
theft of services), 1 violation (disorderly conduct), and 1 Village Ordinance
(care of property).
The part -time officers worked a total of 88 hours and the regular officers
overtime for the month totaled 19 hours.
Approval is requested for the purchase and installation of two additional
lights for the Police main office at an approximate cost of $170.
