Subject: Activities of the Police Department for February 1971
Gentlemen:
The Department handled 62 complaints and investigated 6 motor vehicle
accidents. There were 25 traffic tickets and 59 parking tickets issued during
the month.
Some of the cases investigated during the month concerned 4 felony cases
(forgery), 20'misdemeanor cases (petit larceny, bad checks, criminal mischief,
criminal trespass and aggravated harassment), 2 violations (disorderly conduct)
and 2 Village Ordinances (solicitors).
The part -time officers worked a total of 94 hours and the regular officers
overtime for the month totaled 29 hours.
Patrolman Roger J. Steve II submitted his resignation effective March 5,
1971. It is requested that Robert D. Day be appointed as a part -time patrolman.
