Subject: Activities of the Police Department for July 1971
Gentlemen:
The Department handled 51 complaints and investigated 3 motor vehicle
accidents. There were 32 traffic tickets and 8 parking tickets issued
during the month.
Some of the cases investigated during the month concerned 3 felony
• cases (burglary, possession of stolen property), 20 misdemeanor cases
(petit larceny, bad check, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, aggravated
harassment), 3 violations (disorderly conduct), and 6 Village Ordinances
(solicitors, curfew, firearms).
The part -time officers worked a total of 103 hours and the regular
officers overtime for the month totaled 38 hours.
