HomeMy WebLinkAboutZoning Officer's Report Oct 1970• VILLAGE OF CAYUGA HEIGHTS REPORT OF THE ZONING OFFICER OCTOBER 1970 No zoning permits were issued during the past month. The Zoning Board of Appeals has met and denied the request of a variance for set back distance for the Bentinck -Smith property at 313 The Parkway. At their meeting on October 12, 1970 the Zoning Board of Appeals denied the request for a variance on land coverage and set back distance requested by Jeremiah Wanderstock at the corner of KLinewoods and Hanshaw Roads. At the same meeting they denied the request for variance to continue the existence of a roof overhan built closer to the property line than the zoning ordinance allows at the property of E. W. Thompson (Patten Jewelers) on Pleasant Grove Road. This same evening the hearing for the variance request of Professor Raymond Bowers on Hanshaw Road was postponed until further information can be obtained by Professor Bowers. A request has been received to operate a nursery school at the Congregational Church on Highland Road in the Multiple Housing District under Zoning Ordinance XI, Section 3 (2) (C) - Board of Trustees approval is required.
