Subject: Activities of the Police Department for September 1970
Gentlemen:
The Department handled 53 complaints and investigated 11 motor vehicle
accidents. There were 79 traffic tickets and 18 parking tickets issued during
the month.
Some of the cases investigated during the month concerned 3 felony cases
(grand larceny), 17 misdemeanor cases (petit larceny, bad checks, criminal
mischief, fraud, criminal trespass, possession of fireworks, possession of
dangerous drugs, and 7 violations (disorderly conduct).
The part -time officers worked a total of 180 hours and the regular
officers overtime for the month totaled 27 hours.
