Subject: Activities of the Police Department for October 1970
Gentlemen:
The Department handled 65 cemplaints and investigated 4V motor vehicle
accidents. There were 72 traffic tickets and 18 parking tickets issued
during the month.
Some of the cases investigated during the month concerned 1 felony

2 violations (harassment) and 3 Village ordinances (solicitors- and-hunters).
Patrolman Roger J. Steve, II has successfully completed the New York
State Municipal Police.Tr'e3ni.ng-Council's Basic Recruit School of 7 weeks
held- at-Binghamton, New York.

The part -time officers worked a total of 178 hours and the regular

offiners overtime for the month totaled 29 hours.
