VILLAGE OF CAYUGA HEIGHTS
REPORT OF ZONING OFFICER
MARCH 1970
A request has been received to build a 50' tower antenna.
There seems to be no specific ordinance covering such
construction in the Zoning Ordinance.
Notice has been received from the Mayor's Joint Municipal
Survey Committee of North Shore Villages, Locust Valley,
Long Island that there are bills in the New York State
legislature to take away zoning powers from Villages and
towns. I£ the Board is concerned with preserving the
Village control over zoning within its borders, steps
should be taken to investigate to see what action is
advisable.
