Subject: Activities of the Police Department for February 1970
Gentlemen:
The Department handled 52 complaints and investigated 14 motor
vehicle accidents. There were 38 traffic tickets and 38 parking
tickets issued.
Some of the complaints handled during the month included; 2
felonies (1 burglary, 1 grand larceny - residential area), 4 petit
larceny cases, 3 criminal mischief cases, 2 criminal trespass cases
• and 2 aggravated harassment cases.
The part -time officers worked a total of 150 hours for the
month and the regular officers overtime totaled 138 hours.
I wish to bring to the Boards attention that the stop signs
at Burleigh Drive and Simsbury Drive should be added to the
Village Ordinances.
