MINUTES of a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga
Heights held Monday, July 13, 1970 at 4:00 P.M. in the Village Hall.
PRESENT: Mayor F. G. Marcham; Trustees Ronald E. Anderson, Harold R. Fisher,V.A.lbgg,
Margaret McElwee, Attorney Roger Sovocool, Engineer J.B. Rogers, Treasurer G. Wheeler.
RESOLUTION # 1700 - ACCEPT TEETOR- DOBBINS REPORT
VOTED resolved to accept the report of Teetor- Dobbins to the Village of Cayuga
Heights concerning the remodeling and enlargement of the Sewer Plant, entitled
Report on Wastewater Treatment Facilities and dated April 1969 together with an
addendum dated December 1969.
RESOLUTION # 1701 - REFUND SEWER RENT CHARGE
VOTED to refund to Mr. George Drake the sum of $57.00 as overcharge levied by the
Village for Sewer Rent for the fiscal year 1969, the overcharge resulting from a
mistake in the Village records which credited the property with two sewer units
instead of one.
RESOLUTION # 1702 - PURCHASE CHAIRS
VOTED to authorize purchase of 12 chairs for use by the Village Board at a cost of
• $38.00 per chair, the purchase to be made from the Cornell Alumni Association.
Bids were received on the sewer pipe as follows:
Haverstick & Company Inc., Ithaca, N.Y. - 2203 feet pipe, 2 Wyes $3,303.82
Robert D. Spence Inc., Syracuse, N.Y. - 2203 feet pipe, 2 Wyes $4,277.20
LeValley McLeod, Inc., Elmira, N.Y. - 2203 feet pipe, 2 Wyes $3,388.58
RESOLUTION # 1703 - SEWER PIPE BID
VOTED to award the bid on sewer pipe to Haverstick and Company, Ine. jn the fcalowing
sizes, lengths and item prices:

200 feet in 5' lengths @ $1.38 per ft.
400 " " 10' " @ 1.27 11
