Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights Subject: Activities of the Police Department for June 1970 Gentlemen: The Department handled 57 complaints and investigated 7 motor vehicle accidents. There were 41 traffic tickets and 10 parking tickets issued during the month. Some of the cases investigated during the month concerned 2 felony case$ (burglary - grand larceny); 27 misdemeanor cases (petit larceny, bad checks, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, aggravated harassment).; 5 violation4 (disorderly conduct, harassment) and 2 Village Ordinance • violations (littering, curfew). Ptlm. Robert G. Sims has submitted his resignation effective September 1, 1970. Ptlm. Sims has been employed with the Department since June 1969. The part -time officers worked a total of 157 hours and the regular officers overtime for the month totaled 14 hours. The two new 1970 patrol vehicles ordered in April were received and are presently in use. One of the 1969 patrol vehicles has been sold and the other advertised for sale.
