Marcham Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights Gentlemen: I hereby submit my report for the operations of the Fire Department for the month of January 1970. 9 Fire Calls: 1 -10 -70 1 -10 -70 1 -15 -70 1 -17 -70 1 -20 -70 1 -21 -70 1 -22 -70 1 -25 -70 1 -25-70 Pleasant Grove Apt. 5H - motor belt - heating unit Lew Morse Service Station - malfunction of oil burner Wires down in 300 block of Iroquois Road Carriage House Apartments, Apt. C -3 - Careless discard of cigarette Triphammer Development - Jamesway Department Store - $500 Car fire - Texaco Gas Station - $300 Car fire - 211 Hanshaw Road - $700 Report of fire - dishwasher malfunction Petrillose Cleaner - short in washing machine Fire Department has a new bunker which brings the Department to strength with two bunkers. Ed Olmstead resigned from Department due to being in school in Chicago. Classes for Essentials of Firemanship are being held by State Instructor and have been well attended by new members of the Fire Company. The classes are being held once a week on Wednesday nights.
