Subject: Activities of the Police Department for January 1970
Gentlemen:
The Department handled 51 complaints and investigated 11 motor
vehicle accidents. There were 29 traffic tickets and 69 parking
tickets issued.
0 Some of the complaints handled during the month included; 1
felony case (burglary - business area), 9 petit larceny cases, 5
fire calls, 5 dog complaints and 5 public safety problems.
The part -time officers worked a total of 126 hours for the
month and the regular officers overtime totaled 36 hours.
Meetings with the Public Safety Committee were held during
the month to discuss and prepare tentative budget figures for the
70 -71 budget year.
