Subject: Activities of the Police Department for November, 1970
Gentlemen:
The Department handled 55 complaints and investigated 4 motor vehicle
accidents. There were 42 traffic tickets and 43 parking tickets issued
during the month.
Some of the cases investigated during the month concerned 1 felony
• case (burglary), 23 misdemeanor cases (petit larceny, bad checks, criminal
mischief, attempt to commit crime, theft of mail, and endangering welfare
of a child), 1 violation (disorderly conduct) and 4 Village ordinances
(solicitors, hunters, and curfew).
The part -time officers worked a total of 167 hours and the regular
officers overtime for the month totaled 12 hours.
