Zoning Officer's Report
for October 13, 1969
1. 5 building permits were issued during the past month for $77,800.
2. A building permit was issued to George W. Glover for the Carriage
House Apartments. This was for £he construction of a one story
two family house to house the manager and assistant manager. The
permit was issued with the understanding that the present 16' x 16'
tool house will be demolished upon the completion of the construction
of this building and before a Certificate of Occupancy will be issued.
With the construction of this new one story building the land coverage
of the Carriage House complex will be only a few square feet under
the required maximum of 15% of the land area. Because this is a
one story, two family building being constructed, it was the opinion
of the Fire Inspector and the Zoning Officer that no special multiple
housing inspection was required or necessary.
3. There has been no report from the lawyers in whose hands the zoning
problem of the Mrs. Herman property on Wyckoff Road nov rests.
