To: Hon. Frederick G. Marcham, Mayor
Members of the Board of Trustees
Village of Cayuga Heights
Subject: Activities of the Police Department for September 1969
Gentlemen:
The Department handled 56 complaints and investigated 7 motor vehicle
accidents. There were 69 traffic tickets issued and 51 parking tickets
issued. Two persons were arrested on Village Court Bench Warrants and
one person arrested for issuing a bad check. Two officers of a Fraternity
were served criminal summones to appear in Village Court. This action
resulted from complaints received from Village residents concerning
excessive loud noise from the Fraternity. This case is presently pending
in the Village Court. Some of the other cases investigated by the
Department include 5 bad check cases, 9 petit larceny cases and 1 grand
larceny case.
I wish to bring to the attention of the Board members that the
overtime within the Police Department is continuing to increase. I
presently plan to discuss this matter further with the Mayor and members
of the public safety committee.
Respectfully submitted,
Jack W. McGraw, Sr. ,
Chief of Police
