Gentlemen:
I hereby submit my report for the operations of the Fire
Department for the month of October 1969,
Fire Calls:
10 -1 -69 124 Judd Falls Road, chimney fire
10 -9 -69 Gas flush at Route 13 and Warren Road
10 -12 -69 Grass fire at Lansing East Apartments
10 -13 -69 Grassfire, 572 Warren Road, set by 12 year old boy
10 -18 -69 Car fire, Birchwood Drive, set by two boys
10 -18 -69 31 Sapsuckerwoods Road, Dean's Upholstery
Inspections:
10 -9 -69 508 Highland Road, Mildred Werder Estate
10 -30 -69 State Inspection, North East School
A contract was signed with American IaFrance for preventive
vehicle maintenance. First inspection was made on the three engines
for the fourth quarter. The next inspection will be second quarter
in the spring.
A small standby crew was at the fire house October 31, 1969 until
12:00 midnight. The Halloween proved to be very quiet because we
were ready.
