Enclosed is the fiscal year end report as of May 312 1969.
I would like to point out a few important points about the year end results.
1. We had budgeted to transfer $35,827.94 from the Tax Stabilization
funds for the general fund. We ended up needing only $10,983.37 of these
funds to balance the general fund. This is because we received $14,491.15
above the budget and underspent the budget by $10,353.42. The report is
arranged so you can compare the original budget with the revised year end
• budget, and with the actual money spent.
2. We started out with a $97,000 budget but overspent it by $52572.19
because of the sewer lines repair work. It was necessary to transfer this
money from the beginning surplus of $37,800.88. However, you will note
that because of receiving $14,815 in sewer rents above the budget we end
up with a greater surplus of $45,652. We will have to use a good bit of
this to pay the consulting engineers their fees.
