REPORT OF THE ZONING OFFICER
FOR JANUARY 13, 1969
1. Werder Property - Evidence has been uncovered in the Village files
indicating clearly that there is no retroactive use established to
have the Warder property continue as an apartment building. It is
my suggestion that the Village notify the Warder Estate that they
are to cease their present operation within a given period of time
unless they can prove a retroactive use for which we have no records
in our office.
2. Mr. J. D. MacLean was notified that the house he is building on
Iroquois Road exceeds the height limit and three or four meetings
were held with him and his representatives to discuss the problem.
Because his proposed fill against the side of the building to bring
the height requirement within the zoning ordinance did not have prior
approval, he is applying to the Zoning Board of Appeals for a variance.
3. It is my recommendation as Zoning Officer that the Board consider an
historic zoning for the Scott property.
4. Request has been made to change the lighting and signs (decrease in
square footage of signs) at the Mobil Station on Renshaw Road.
