MINUTES of a Recessed Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village
of Cayuga Heights held in the Village Office, 194 Pleasant Grove Road,
February 18, 1969 at 10 :00 P.M. after the Grievance Day Meeting of the Board
of Review.
PRESENT: Mayor F. G. Marcham; Trustees Ronald E. Anderson, Verne A. Fogg,
Mary T. Freeman, Carl H. Nelson, and Bane F. Randolph and Treasurer Gordon B.
Wheeler.
The Board considered the budget and assigned provisional figures to most
items. Some items could not be given a firm figure because future events,
i.e., decisions on appointment of a Public Works General Foreman and purchase
of the Stone House were still in doubt. The Board agreed to present to the
Villagers at the Annual Meeting, February 24, 1969 general information regarding
• the probable nature of the budget and also to prepare a provisional budget for
presentation to the incoming Village Board on April 1, as soon as the matters
in doubt are determined.
In the course of discussing the status of Village employees the Board -

VOTED to make permanent the appointment of Helen B. Thomas as typist as of
January 1, 1969 at an annual salary of $4,000.
