SUBJECT: Police Department report for January, 1969
Gentlemen:
During the month of January 1969, the Police Department handled 52
complaints and 3 reported motor vehicle accidents. The Department issued
46 traffic summonses and 18 parking tickets.
. On January 11, Sergeant McEwen suffered a fractured wrist while on
duty. The Mayor and the Public Safety Committee has tentatively approved
the use of the part -time patrolman during Sergeant McEwen's disability.
A meeting was held on January 26 with the Public Safety Committee
relative to the proposed Police Department budget for 1969 -70 and a
memo concerning this has been sent to all Board Members and the Village
Treasurer.
