Zoning Officer's Report
for October and November 1969
During October and November there were three zoning permits issued
for a total of an estimated $6,400 of additions to existing buildings.
Requests were made of the Zoning Officer to establish whether a newly
constructed building did meet the building zoning code.
Numerous meetings were held with the attorney for the estate of
Epsie B. B. Morse to determine whether it was possible to divide
the property owned by the estate and located between Overlook Road
and Wyckoff Road. As the matter did not meet the zoning code, the
matter was referred to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Requests for construction at the Carriage House did not meet the
zoning code and therefore was referred to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
The Engineer met with the Zoning Board of Appeals on December 1st to
discuss this case. The Zoning Board of Appeals granted a variance
for this construction.
